Position:  Operations Specialist

Cosmetic Design Group – Culver City, CA

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and sales orders.
  • Manage inventory quantities accurately and within desired levels.
  • Manage communication with freight forwarders to ensure on time arrival of components and finished goods to the desired destination.
  • Ensure the most economical movement of materials through the supply chain to achieve cost-effective logistics practices and inventory levels while meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Generate and maintain bills of materials and manufacture orders.
  • Prepare and process documents for export/import orders according to U.S. and foreign government requirements.
  • Various duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Multi tasker with critical eye for details and numbers
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Microsoft Office and PC literate, in particular with strong Excel skills
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Passion for beauty/cosmetics industry a plus
  • Experience desired: 2+ years

 

Position:  Product Development Associate

Cosmetic Design Group – Culver City, CA

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research, develop, and launch new products to meet customer needs and grow Company revenues under the direction of the Sr Manager of Product Development
  • Source materials and suppliers to meet product development calendar deadlines
  • Coordinate and track sample submission process, managing both vendor and customer relationships
  • Research trends and source items to suit specific project briefs while maintaining budgeted goals
  • Manage and improve operational practices such as purchasing, inventory management, and shipping
  • Provide assistance to team leaders in the execution of assigned tasks

Qualifications
