of the Year Award

Unique compact/powder jar developed for Estee Lauder
FLORHAM PARK, NJ – World Wide Packaging Inc., a leading
provider of cosmetic packaging components, was recognized as the
first ICMAD Cosmetic Innovator of the Year at the trade organization’s
31st Annual Meeting held June 10 at Battery Gardens in New York
City. The award was presented by former Miss America, Phyllis George.
The company was honored for its new compact/powder jar developed
exclusively for Estee Lauder. Accepting the award was Jeffrey Schneider,
President of World Wide Packaging. Also present for the ceremonies
was Gary Korba, VP Global Packaging for Estee Lauder. Mr. Korba
initiated the concept and worked in conjunction with Robert Reinhardt,
Executive V.P. of sales to bring the package to reality. The unique
product, a combination of a compact and powder jar, holds loose
powder and pressed powder in one package, which can be detached
into two separate pieces.
ICMAD is a trade association of some 600 independent cosmetic
